Nothing Bundt Cakes honored as Menifee’s September Business Spotlight
The City of Menifee is thrilled to announce “Nothing Bundt Cakes” as the city’s September Business Spotlight, a program that is a part of the city’s Office of Economic Development’s B3 (Building Better Businesses) program.
Nothing Bundt Cakes opened its doors in Menifee in 2018, offering a moist bite of assorted cakes that residents have come to know and love. Built on founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz's vision, the Menifee bakery still has the warmth and nostalgia of its home-kitchen roots but also has a modern approach for today’s world. Bundt Cakes and Bundtinis®, are all made fresh with real eggs, butter, and cream cheese, and are now a staple for many resident and business celebrations.
Nothing Bundt Cakes-Menifee carries on the long-established tradition of service within the community by actively donating cakes throughout the Menifee Valley, and surrounding areas. Owners Carol Badal and David Donner were nominated for the Business Spotlight program by a community member, for the business’s generous and compassionate giving to the Menifee Valley, and for consistently going above and beyond the call of business for their community. Some of the notable contributions in the Menifee community include: The Boys and Girls Club, Perris Union High School District, Romoland Union School District, Menifee Union School District, Murrieta Unified School District, Hemet Unified School District, Kay Ceniceros Senior Center, Hilltop Garden Manor Senior Center, Loma Linda Medical Center, Rancho Springs Medical Center, Bridge Hospice, and the Menifee Police Department, to just name a few.
“Nothing Bundt Cakes has brought light and warmth to our community,” said Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman. “While we are highlighting their generosity, we also would like to recognize Nothing Bundt Cakes team with how they continually go above and beyond to establish a strong sense of hometown pride in Menifee. We are proud to recognize and say thank you to our businesses like Nothing Bunt Cakes, that continue to contribute to Menifee’s very distinct and popular hometown feel.”
