Tacos & Tequila Grill and Cantina has been Selected as Menifee’s October Business Spotlight

The City of Menifee is thrilled to announce “Tacos & Tequila Grill and Cantina” as
the City’s October Business Spotlight, a program that is a part of the Economic Development
Department’s B3 (Building Better Businesses) program.

Owner of Tacos & Tequila Grill and Cantina, Vicente Diaz, comes from a long lineage of those with
a passion for creating delicious culinary experiences for others. His grandfather, who traveled from
Michoacán to Southern California, started his first business in San Diego over 100 years ago with a
dream to pass down his restaurant and culinary expertise from generation to generation. This
dream has turned into a legacy that has allowed his children and grandchildren, to bring their
passion for Mexican cuisine to various communities throughout Southern California and beyond.
Included in this legacy is Diaz, who opened Taco’s & Tequila Grill and Cantina in 2022.

Diaz opened his first restaurant in Lake Elsinore and set his sights on Menifee for his brand-new
concept, noting its vibrancy and rapid growth. Within Tacos & Tequila’s kitchen is over 100 years of
combined chef experience. All their dishes are inspired by different regions of Mexico, ranging from
Baja to Jalisco to Michoacán, brimming with authentic flavors and handcrafted details.

Along with the genuine flavors in their cuisine, Tacos & Tequila is known for their signature craft
cocktails, many including tequila imported directly from small batch farms in Mexico, creating a
unique flavor profile in their drinks. The restaurant has quickly become a staple in the Menifee
community and as news of their welcoming atmosphere and fresh food hit the town, they found the
need for expansion, which was completed in 2023. Their expansion allows for an elevated dining
experience and additional space for celebrations!

Menifee speaks to the heart of our community and adds to our city’s unique identity.”
